Gallipoli Barracks Brisbane

Problem Statement: Downer Defence was looking to develop a hybrid wayfinding and LIA room check-in solution. A 24-hour check-in kiosk would provide 100% automated and self-serving functions such as LIA check-in, Digital maps to accommodation facilities, issue of RFIDs and details of site amenities and facilities via their mobile devices. This contemporary inspiration was on par with civilian and community hotel experiences whilst preserving Australia’s security integrity. In achieving this goal Downer Defence partnered with Envent.

Project Summary: Envent undertook the design, development and integration of Envent.Cloud with the robust RMS online room reservation system. Deliverables included the installation of a physical kiosk with checkin and wayfinding capabilities servicing 1300 rooms, along with a mobile phone wayfinding application. Envent was also commissioned to develop and implement a national an online survey that serves 18 Barracks.

Indoor Bluetooth Mobile Wayfinder with RTLS

Problem Statement: A solution was required to provide RTLS services via web based mobile platform for staff to wayfind to desks, facilities, meeting rooms and events.

Project Summary: The original intent was to provide indoor web based wayfinding to various locations and services within corporate staffed offices. The aim was to use a web based browser to launch a URL using chrome to deliver a wayfinding service. Chrome, apple and android have not yet provided adequate bluetooth integration services for web based RTLS capabilities. Envent developed two BLE RTLS wayfinding applications (Android and Apple) integrating with the HP Meridian wayfinding platform to present accuracy to within 1-2 metres and a latency of 1-2 seconds indoors. A web solution was also developed providing static wayfinding indoors integrating with the Envent.Cloud CMS to deliver customisable content.

Prince of Wales Hospital

Problem Statement: The Prince of Wales Hospital (POW) has constructed a new state of the art Acute Services Building (ASB) to expand their existing hospital footprint. They required an intuitive wayfinding platform that could provide RTLS on mobile and kiosk across the new and existing campuses.

Project Summary: Envent was selected by HI and the SESLHD to design and implement a comprehensive mobile and kiosk solution for the POW Precinct. This included indoor and outdoor navigation, mobile, kiosk and desktop, across the existing campus and newly integrated 14 storey ASB facility. A dedicated web based mobile wayfinder is being commissioned as an interim step to the wireless RTLS network integration in late 2023.

Westmead Hospital

Problem Statement: Westmead Hospital needed to implement a digital wayfinding solution at their new Acute Service Building (ASB). The solution would also need to connect to the existing expansive and well established campus building, whilst primarily providing detailed level maps of the ASB.

Project Summary: Envent was selected by Health Infrastructure as the preferred partner for the WSLHD digital Wayfinding. The scope included indoor digital wayfinding directories for the newly constructed multilevel ASB, including high level wayfinding to existing Westmead Hospital A-J blocks and external campus buildings. The option to integrate detailed indoor wayfinding to all A-J Blocks with be undertaken in 2023. Directory hardware included the state-of-the-art COMPASS directories that include industry leading innovation.

Problem Statement: To design and produce a directory solution that provides wayfinding and digital advertising across multiple environments. The design had to consider existing outdoor plinth style signage and sizing whilst creating a modern look and feel. The challenge was designing a weatherproof cabinet and locking system for our largest ever hinged door at 3000mm.

Project Summary: Envent won a competitive tender to design and deliver a range of indoor and outdoor digital directories for the UoN campuses. Stainless steel enclosures, 55" ultrabright outdoor LCDs, 6mm toughened glass, PCAP touchscreens, fibre connectivity and RFID electronic locking systems.

Scout Chatbot

Problem Statement: The client required a bespoke, low cost design that could be quickly and easily assembled onsite. Our product had to be designed and manufactured in Australia cheaper than importing a comparative US solution.

Project Summary: Envent provided a custom designed indoor digital enclosure. The directories had to encompass an integrated Samsung 55" HD LCD, touchscreen, Intel CPU hardware, power supplies and powerboards. The unit and hardware could be assembled within 15 minutes to completion.

Problem Statement: As Australia’s first fully digital hospital, St Stephen’s gives the Wide Bay community access to one of the country’s most advanced healthcare facilities. Envent was approached to provide a high-end wayfinding interface with 3D graphics to reflect the innovative nature of the hospital.

Lismore Hospital

Problem Statement: Lismore Base Hospital needed to provide information in the directories to make it easier for everyone to understand what services are available at the hospital. The client required external directories at the main entrances to assist visitors with navigation.

Problem Statement: Blacktown Hospital is celebrating the new ED and ASB development as part of the NSW Government’s $700 million expansion project, making it one of the most advanced hospitals in the state. The objectives was to install a network of strategically located wayfinding directories throughout the new hospital.

Wollongong Hospital

Problem Statement: Wollongong Hospital is the largest of ISHLHDs eight hospitals and is the region’s tertiary referral hospital. The hospital recently underwent $110 million worth of capital works and enhancements. Problem Statement: The centrepiece of the $277 million St George Hospital Redevelopment, the Acute Services Building, features: a 52-bed intensive care and high dependency unit. a cardiac catheterisation unit. 128 inpatient beds. Envent was asked provide digital mapping to the entire hospital including the new ASB and existing multiple buildings.

Problem Statement: Coface approached Envent to design a sleek and sophisticated Building Directory for their high end Corporate foyer in Sydney CBD. To meet the needs of their staff, visitors and couriers, Coface required Envent to integrate to their online CMS to retrieve and display results. The terminal needed customised materials, branding, a physical handset and sticker printer for label issuance at the kiosk.

Problem Statement: The Prince of Wales Hospital is a 440 bed major public teaching hospital located in Sydney's eastern suburb of Randwick, providing a full range of hospital services to the people of New South Wales, Australia. Problem Statement: Envent approached Stockland Head Office and introduced the concept of digital wayfinding and loyalty systems in 2006. Stockland at the time did not have a digital strategy to implement a customer engagement solution of this magnitude. One year later, they looked to Envent to provide an end-to-end wayfinding solution which we gratefully provided.

Project Summary: Stockland engaged Envent to design a custom software and hardware solution to rollout to thirty one centres across Australia in 2008. Envent designed a bespoke 32" dual sided freestanding COMPASS directory, with sound, handset intercom, PCAP touch, Illuminated header, magstripe card reader and thermal receipt printer.

Problem Statement: QMS found Envent online and approached us to develop a digital signage network of baggage carousel displays and freestanding 60" displays for the Bali International and Domestic airports.

Project Summary: Envent provided greatly subsidised conceptual designs to QMS for a competitive bid on digital signage tender for Bali. Envents IP and design ensured QMS secured the bid and won the tender amongst four international competitors. QMS & DP then took our selfless contribution and designs into production. Thank you for the wonderful experience as it will surely be repaid in kind.

Bunbury Forum

Problem Statement: Bunbury Forum had no interactive digital directories or digital strategy. Bunbury approached Envent to design a digital wayfinding solution that could be easily implemented into their centre.

Project Summary: Bunbury Forum approached Envent to design and install a suite of modern interactive dual sided wayfinders with online interactive software. The hardware included 32" portrait ELO screens with SAW touch technology, speakers and amplifiers, hybrid card readers and rear illuminated poster displays.

Botany Town Centre

Problem Statement: AMP Capital was an existing client of ours and they wanted to relocate 5 directories from Knox Shopping Centre in Melbourne in New Zealand. The Botany Town centre did not have a digital wayfinding solution at that time and required the latest technology solution for their shoppers.

Project Summary: Envent provided the customisation of our Envention platform and relocation of the Melbourne Wayfinders to the Botany Town centre. The specification included outdoor 37" dual sided directories and dual sided 37" directories. with 1000 NIT LCD S, gray UV stable glass, PCAP touchscreens, Industrial CPUS, stainless steel enclosures, powdercoated, custom branding, intercoms, card readers and card readers.

The Macquarie Centre

Problem Statement: The Macqaurie Centre was an existing client of Envents that had previously installed our dual sided Indoor Sabre Technology. The Centre approached us to design the latest in customer engagement technology, so we introduced through glass touch technology to the Australian Shopping centre industry

Project Summary: Envent pioneered the use of through-glass technology by investing in R&D and developing an ultra thin proprietary simulated backlit panel. This enabled two back to back through glass screens to be centrally illuminated evenly to simulate at LED screen. AT the same time we redeveloped the software to create a 3D visualisation of the centre.

NSW Transport

Problem Statement: NSW Trains were looking to implement a digital wayfinding solution encompassing a range of functions to pilot on their regional network. Currently there was no digital service arrival information for commuter notifications.

Project Summary: Envent tabled a host of functional options for NSW Transport, NSW Trains and Transport Wayfinding, and TfNSW. The finial solution was modular outdoor kiosk configurations with AC units, trains arrival information, Facility wayfinding, Network maps, journey planning, designated contacts, surveys, weather and multilingual options.

Problem Statement: Envent was engaged by Tyco and Sydney Trains to provide a multiplatform, multifunctional, interactive and online suite of products to pilot as Asquith Station. This pilot would be used for wider analysis of the models and solutions to be rolled out across the NSW Transport Network.

Project Summary: The client requested the custom design of an integrated suite of products and software configuration to enable passenger and commuter engagement on platform. Envent designed four different products encompassing the following features: Wayfinding, service arrival, journey planning, multlingual, intercoms, network maps, digital posters. The final result of Envents designs can now be seen across the greater NSW Transport infrastructure on the Light Rail, Rail, B-Line and Ferry Networks.

Problem Statement: Ergon Energy wanted to install a building directory on each level of thier corporate head quarters at Newstead in Brisbance. They didn't have an existing solution.

Project Summary: Envent was commissioned to customise a complete interactive software and hardware solution for the 7 storey site. We had to provide the 20" ELO LCDs, touchscreens, CPUS and internal hardware and install these into proprietary enclosures on each level. Our bespoke software needed to integrate and update daily with active directory to retrieve information relating to staff and tennat locations.
